My 17 Week Training Schedule for 2011 Country Music Half Marathon

Time to document my-what may be the stupidest-worst timing-can I really add one. more. thing. to my hectic schedule-training program for the April 30, 2011 Country Music Half Marathon.

But here I am. This is the time of year for goals and I am not getting any younger or any less stressed out and Beth's timing in daring asking me to run this with her was impeccable. Maybe just maybe I will develop superb time management skills and become Super Woman! Ha!

The first 5 weeks are prep or pre-training.
Monday: Cross Train (something cardio other than running)
Tuesday 2 miles
Wednesday: CT
Thursday:2.5miles
Friday: Rest or CT (depending on my mood and/or energy level)
Saturday: 3 miles
Sunday: 2 miles

The last 12 weeks will consist of me adding miles each week. I plan to post the current week's schedule each week.
